چکیده
Objectives: This literature review seeks to know the management, as well limitations, indications, hemostatic measures and risk which compromised patients are exposed either by modifying treatment or decreasing dose prior surgery treatment, establish management of under therapy; before, during after surgery. Materials methods: a was carried out period September - December 2022. The sources used were PudMed, ScienceDirect Medline databases. search terms were: (Warfarin) AND (Oral surgery), (Anticoagultion bridge ) (Anticoagulant) (Dental extraction) (dentistry). Results: total 6281 articles identified from three databases used: pubmed, sciencedirect medline. After applying exclusion criteria, 3557 eliminated, leaving 2724 for reading eligibility, resulting in 56 articles, 11 duplicate excluded, 45 analysis elaboration literature. Conclusions: with direct oral anticoagulants (DOAC) vitamin K antagonists (VKA) present intraoperative postoperative bleeding, where VKA presents higher compared DOAC; it is recommended not suspend administration before Hemostasis can be controlled using different measures.

OBJECTIVE Surgery is the main oral healthcare hazard to the patient with a bleeding tendency, which is mostly caused by the use of anticoagulants. The traditional management entails the interruption of anticoagulant therapy for dental surgery to prevent hemorrhage. However, this practice may increase the risk of a potentially life-threatening thromboembolism. Because this issue is still controv...
متن کاملProthrombin complex concentrates for oral anticoagulant therapy-related intracranial hemorrhage: a review of the literature.
Warfarin-related intracranial hemorrhage carries a high mortality and poor neurological outcome. Rapid reversal of coagulopathy is a cornerstone of medical therapy to halt bleeding progression; however the optimal approach remains undefined. Prothrombin complex concentrates have promising features that may rapidly reverse coagulopathy, but remain relatively unstudied. We aim to review the liter...
متن کاملDabigatran: A new oral anticoagulant. Guidelines to follow in oral surgery procedures. A systematic review of the literature
BACKGROUND Dabigatran is a newly commercialized drug that is replacing other anticoagulants in the prevention of venous thromboembolism, stroke and systemic arterial valve embolism. It acts directly on thrombin presenting in a dynamic and predictable way, which does not require monitoring these patients. Therefore, we consider the need to assess whether their use increases the risk of bleeding ...
متن کاملAnticoagulant therapy for ischemic stroke: A review of literature
For many years, anticoagulants have been used in the emergent treatment of patients with acute ischemic stroke. Anticoagulants are prescribed in an effort to prevent first or recurrent stroke, especially among patients with cardioembolism due to arterial fibrillation and large-artery atherosclerotic disease. Despite the widespread use, efficacy and safety of anticoagulants are controversial. Ex...
